David Coffey of Automate Warehousing Ireland demonstrates the latest Warehouse Management Solution from Kardex, developed for picking and packing in fast moving order fulfillment warehouses.
In a paperless transaction, the operator is guided by a pick light on the Kardex unit and then instructed by a pack light on the trolley as to where to place the item.
The benefits are clearly the accuracy of the pick and pack, but also using the "goods to operator" principal of a Kardex the operator can pick at a very fast rate.
This solution is already very successful installed in many warehouses.
