The video below shows how a single operator can pick from three Kardex Shuttle XP at a rate of 240 picks per hour.
The operator is doing the work of 2-3 manual pickers.
Picks are timed as follows.
First pick is at 15 seconds - allowing for order setup.
1 minute - 4 items are picked which is 240 lines picked per hour.
After 4 minutes - 15 items are picked so a rate of 225 lines picked per hour is sustained easily.
